Heather Ebba Maib (M.S.) is the director of Benewah Latah Upward Bound in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences at the University of Idaho and has worked in TRIO programs since 2008. Heather earned her undergraduate degree from Washington State University and a master’s from the University of Idaho. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Education focusing on trauma-informed leadership and professional development and has a professional certification in College Student Well-being, Trauma & Resilience. A first-generation college student herself, Heather’s passion is to help the next generation of students navigate their education and lives as emerging adults. Outside of work, Heather is busy raising two amazing and rowdy kiddos.
